Director, UK, Europe and Middle East
Sophie advises on strategic recruitment in Europe; the Middle East and Asia for UK and US law firms. She joined V&P in 2010 and has focussed on senior level hires in the Corporate and Finance spaces, advising on Partner and team moves in Europe and the Middle East. She also has particular experience in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors. She is a French speaker and graduated from the University of Sussex with a degree in English Literature and French having also spent a year studying at L’Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3. Sophie is very keen on all aspects of assessment and cultural fit to ensure that the right hire/move is made and completed a Masters in Psychology (MSc) in 2015 to further her understanding of people and organisations.
Tracy joined V&P in 2006 and has worked on international mandates including all over Europe and Asia. She is now based in Singapore and advises on partner and team moves across the region. Prior to V&P, she was a lawyer for a number of years with Ernst & Young.
Natalie trained as a lawyer and practised in both private practice where she was an equity partner for a number of years and in-house. She has experience advising on regulatory law (including SRA compliance) disputes and employment law matters. At V&P Global, she leads the lateral hire due diligence team and works with Law firms, in-house legal teams and senior lawyers. Natalie and her team provide intelligence that assists our clients to make better hiring decisions, mitigate talent risk, improve performance and save money.
Anaïs is a bilingual French national. Having trained at La Caisse des Dépôts, the national public bank, she gained a good understanding of business and finance and joined V&P Global as an associate in 2015. She has worked on a wide range of search mandates and, with an excellent network across Paris; Brussels and London, she works with international firms looking to grow their existing teams in Continental Europe as well as for firms opening new offices. She has hired partners / teams in International Arbitration / Disputes, Finance, Antitrust / Trade, Corporate and IP.
Fran advises on searches in the private wealth and real estate practice areas. This interest in private wealth and real estate dates back to her Law degree (LL.B) when she realised that she particularly enjoyed the equity & trusts, family and land law modules. This, plus an interest in people, people strategy, and organisational development led her to develop a career as a head-hunter. She works in the team responsible for some of London’s largest private wealth moves in last few years including the move of an entire private client department and a significant family team. She has developed a diverse practice working with prominent UK and international firms to succeed in making their strategic private wealth and real estate hires.
Caitlin joined V&P Global in 2018 and focuses on searches within Competition & Antitrust, Trade and Regulatory law in continental Europe but in particular in London, Brussels and Paris. She has been involved in successful hires of Competition, Trade and Regulatory teams for global and US law firms and has worked on mandates including new office openings for top 50 US firms. She is a bilingual English/French speaker and has a BA Hons in International Relations and Management from the University of St. Andrews and an MSc in International Management from King’s College London.
Flavia is a qualified lawyer in Brazil and Portugal and before joining V&P Global she gained extensive inhouse experience advising on legal, regulatory and compliance matters in regulated markets. Flavia is part of the Singapore team and advises on partner and team moves across Asia. She first relocated to Singapore in 2011 and has particular experience in the TMT, energy and infrastructure sectors. After qualifying as a lawyer in 2000, Flavia completed her LL.M in Competition Law (King’s College London) in 2015 and LL.M in International Business Law (INSEAD/Sorbonne) in 2014. She speaks English, French and Portuguese.
Chris read Politics and History at the LSE and gained an in-depth knowledge of financial markets and international business as well as a strong foundation for creative, analytical thinking. He has been interested in the financial, legal and technology sectors from an early age, having been involved with the design of data-driven platforms, with a strong interest in blockchain technologies. He has also spent time previously at Mayer Brown JSM, Beijing prior to specialising in legal recruitment. He currently works with international law firms in London and Hong Kong. Chris is trilingual and speaks English, Japanese and Mandarin.
Emma trained and qualified as a lawyer, having completed her BA Law and then an LLM on Commercial and Corporate Law at Queen Mary University of London. She has worked on mergers and acquisitions as well as IPO’s and bond issuance under Rule 144A and Regulation S of the Securities Act of 1933 of the USA. She has also led several mergers and spin off projects such as the restructurings. She joined V&P Global to focus on searches for UK and US law firms in corporate M&A and ECM in London, Madrid and Latin America. She works in the team responsible for a number of partner and team moves. She is also currently working on a number searches for prominent UK & US firms. Emma is bilingual Spanish/English.
Michaela has had experience working in law firms in the Middle East and studied law at the University of Kent graduating with a BA degree in Law (LLB).
She has always been particularly interested in the intersection of law and the commercial world particularly relating to the economy and international trade and at V&P she focuses on searches internationally, mainly in competition and trade, as well as commercial law, working on assignments for UK and US law firms. She is a bilingual English/Tagalog speaker and is intermediate in Greek and Spanish.
Jordan read Economics and History at Cardiff University developing his analytical skills and knowledge of finance. It also sparked an early interest in business and property and he formed a rent to rent business as a response to a gap in the local market. Joining V&P has enabled Jordan to combine his experience and interest in Real Estate which is now the focus of his searches for V&P. He works as part of the team responsible for recruitment of partners and team moves and is currently working on a number of searches for prominent UK and US firms across the full spectrum of Real Estate Finance, Development and Construction.
William read History at Oxford Brookes, completing his dissertation on the historical impact of the internet as well as the law relating to the internet and terrorism. He has always had a strong interest in psychology and this, combined with shadowing a QC during a commercial law trial, sparked an interest in law and led to a career in legal headhunting. Having joined V&P Global as an Associate, he specialises in Dispute Resolution and the growing intersection of technology and disputes, focusing on areas such as IP, Brands, Reputation Management, Tech Disputes and Arbitration.
Charlie joined V&P Global from one of the UK’s largest recruitment firms in 2020 to focus on searches within Dispute Resolution, in particular Commercial Litigation and International Arbitration. He has lived in Australia and the Netherlands and brings this global outlook to his work, helping international firms to grow their disputes teams. He read History as an undergraduate at Durham University and developed his interest in business and the law whilst completing an MSc in Management (International Business) at Durham University Business School and a Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law. He is an avid sportsman and has played junior international hockey for England.
