We are working with an integrated US law firm with 30 offices globally and a market leading global International Arbitration team who would like someone to establish and lead a greenfield International Arbitration Practice in Paris.
The ideal partner / team would work closely with the full service Paris office, which boasts a strong transactional base generating work, and which also has a very well regarded commercial disputes and white collar practice. The Paris office is going from strength to strength, hiring high profile partners from leading US / Magic Circle firms and maintaining a strong presence in the French market.
The international arbitration team is truly global, comprising 100 lawyers sat in offices across the Middle East, Hong Kong, London, the US and Singapore. Their recent track record includes major matters in the energy, natural resources, construction, engineering, sports financial services, insurance, reinsurance and technology sectors and covers the full range of investor-state arbitration, bilateral and multilateral investment treaty claims, public international law, shareholder disputes under a wide range of arbitration rules.
The partner / team would be the driver of business and strategy in Paris and the first point for all French law arbitration work while supported by a large global international arbitration team and by a strong full service office in Paris.
