We are working with a profitable, UK Top 50 firm advising them on the strategic hire of a private wealth partner who can help with the leadership and direction of their international private wealth team and help put in place a succession plan for the current group head.
The firm is known for their practices in real estate, corporate and commercial, and litigation and their established presence in the Middles East and Far East. They have had excellent financial management in recent years putting them in a strong position to make key strategic hires. They have revenues of over £100m, impressive recent growth and a management board committed to developing the private wealth practice.
The small private wealth team punches well above its weight, working internationally for a rich client base. The private wealth team benefits from the firm’s core sectors, particularly in terms of the corporate and real estate groups and the significant client referral opportunities they provide. A major focus for both the firm and the private wealth group is owner managed businesses and the private wealth team is well known in acting for business families and entrepreneurs. Many of their clients own and manage substantial international business groups and they also work with a number of family offices.
The team is already doing excellent work but wants to evolve it. This is an excellent opportunity for a collegiate partner with an international practice, who is looking to take the next step in their career and be part of the development of a leading private wealth team. Experience managing a team as well as a demonstrable practice is required.
